As most of you know this will be the last week for the The Fox's Lair/Olde Town Inn under our ownership. We have enjoyed the past 18 years immensely and have made some great friends during our tenure. The new owner Chuck Hardin is one of us, he lives in Olde Town, he runs his business on the river and he has been a part of our neighborhood for the last couple of years. He is dedicated to keeping the Lair as it has been for the last 30+ years. Of course we expect him to make it his vision over the next few months. Judy will continue as the best bartender in Augusta and most of our musicians will continue to make the Fox's Lair Augusta's best kept secret.
Carol and I invite all of you who remember the good times you have had at the Lair to come and join us this week to help us put closure on the past 18 years.
Tuesday - John Fisher & the boys
Thursday - Richardean returns for one night as guest bartender, with Michael Johnson performing as only he can.
Friday - Changing of the Guard Tour featuring Roger Enevoldsen, who played here for many, many years
Satruday - The Final Night - Mario & Birkie will finish with Karaoke. It was our very first entertainment, so it is only fitting that it be our last. If you want to come and play a few tunes, please do so. We would like this to be a joyous event.
